Red Lips on Dark Skin ft. Red Nigerian Pleats Gele

Hey family. So I decided to create a makeup and gele video. I think I finally found a red lipstick shade that works well on my skin tone. It's one by Adoniaa, a local Calgary brand. 

Then I got my brother to do my voiceover. Save me the effort haha!. And he did such a good job without a script! I think he just found a new career. I have the video below for you to enjoy.

OUTFIT || Back to First Love

It's been a whole year since the other post featuring this custom-made outfit  from Nigeria, but every time I wear this skirt, it feels like I'm wearing it for the first time, and it just makes me feel happy and 'princessey' :) like going back to your first love! The mustard yellow shirt was custom made too. by my mum's talented friend. The colour brings a much needed bright touch, in this cold dull weather.

Anyways, all the best to all going back to school for a new term/semester. Do your best, it'll be over soon :D

Outfit || Colourful Season

Tis The Season To Be Jolly....

Although Christmas only lasts one day, the merriments always go on for much more. Unwrapping the presents in the morning was so much fun, with the whole family gathered together. The tree bottom that  once looked so garnished with unopened presents now lays there bare and empty :( ...but some people's wardrobes have definitely increased! :)

Everyone needs a special outfit of the day on Christmas right? Well my family has always done that for as long as I remember, especially for the church service. This time, I opted for a vintage-modern twist to my outfit. I love midi skirts, and when they're big and flowy too, just perfect. 

This gorgeous skirt was custom made for me from Nigeria! It came with a button down shirt but I opted for this lace detail top instead. Ain't it beautiful? ..."feast yar eyes!"
